He brought us to areas of rural Sao Miguel I would never have found myself. I also saw coastal areas with stunning views. Ana was so enthusiastic and gave me so much great help that made our evening so incredibly special. We got both a photoshoot, and amazing engagement photos that we could share with our friends and family. I would recommend Ana for any photography needs, as she's so warm, encouraging, and supportive throughout the shoot. Our group of two couples spent two full days on Vasco's tour, and he also handled our airport transportation to/from Ponta Delgada. On the first day, we visited Sete Cidades to see the crater lakes and beautiful volcano. After lunch, we went to the Caldeira Velha thermal pools, and went swimming.
On the second day, we started with a tour of a locally famous tea factory, then visited the Furnas volcano. We spent the early part of the afternoon touring the lovely Terra Nostra Botanical Garden, with a lunch in the town of Furnas, and then stops at Our Lady of Peace Chapel and a short tour of the town center of Ponta Delgada.
Vasco also handled our dinner arrangements, and was willing to extend his day to handle dinner transportation.

Both of them were very friendly, knowledgeable and great to show us the best of Sao Miguel island. We had a great time, both days were full of lots of attractions, the lunches were amazing and the van was comfortable for a 2 days trip. Really enjoyed and we recommend it to anyone! We loved the cakes that they served at lunch and he took us to check out the factory because he thought we would like it. So sweet (and correct!). Amazing views of the Furnas, great food and excellent service. Really went over the top to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Cesar made us feel like family and went above and beyond to show us the beauty of Sao Miguel.

The whole day was very enjoyable and the guide very informative with an excellent standard of English language, too. We had sufficient time to explore each stop ourselves, too. The lunch was very generous and plenty of wine, water and soft drinks and was a very sociable event, the group all sat around the same table.
