    Kathgodam is small town from where the road to Nainital starts it is basically gateway to Nainital. It is also the nearest railhead to Nainital

    Best Mall of Haldwani
    There is a good selection of branded shops majorly clothing and shoes. Mainly known for multiplex. A nice place for shopping and movie.

    Hindu Goddess Temple
    Sitla Devi Temple is located near Kathgodam railway station on the main road of Haldwani-Nainital road, its on the top of mountain, The temple is dedicated to goddess Durga and major festival is held on the month of Sept.-Oct during Navratri when lots of devotees visit this temple for worship and offer Sweets, Coconuts & Chunni to the deity mother Durga. The main priest surname Pandey are the only recognized to serve here, there is also big garden area for local people to enjoy picnic here, this place is very neat and clean for the visitors. There is no entry fee to visit here, but one has to climb at least 500 Ft"

    monsoon river
    This river shows what climate change is doing to the world. I only see it in it's glory in monsoons. Most of the time it's not even visible when you cross the bridges. It's sad what we humans have did to planet.

    Gahr ke bahar ghar jaisa Anand. Anand Vihar se sirf 250 KM ki doori pr bahut hi adventures place. good food and best services.

    Wholesale Prices
    Located on the Main Road opposite Nanak Restaurant. Parking available. Nice laid back shop. Whole-sale prices. Do not look for a Snazzy Display though.
