Somebody can really experience the way of Buddhism here. Tips:
- Walk to the top of the hill if you can for a very beaustiful view of the lake and the surroundings from the viewing tower on the top. On the way you also cross a holy cave
- Do not miss the Tashi Choling Monastery near the car park as you exit the lake. I hardly found anyone going to this monastery after visiting the lake. The only problem is you need to walk bare footed which is quiet a big problem during the winter month. One good thing was that we saw orange tree full with oranges. You can go to river bank and can take some good pictures.
