Kondivali Beach is around 10 km away from the Shrivardhan on the way to Diveagar, which is exactly in mid area of this road journey. Shrivardhan to Diveagar Coastal rod drive is amazing one and most memorable sceneries are there in this route. If you start early morning from the Shrivardhan then the day is yours as on the way you find many beaches and mesmerized scenic locations. Out of which Kondivali Beach is also one.

This is the only one beach in this area where you can find White sand which is most beautiful area to enjoy water sports. Spend as much as possible here because other beaches are not this much clean.

One can Visit old small temple, dedicated to lord Shiva and his consort Parvathi near this beach, which is called as Shankar Temple.

"Blessed are the curious for they shall have Adventures"......

Exploring Konkan.........Harihareshwar, हरिहरेश्व‍र, a town in Raigad district, in Maharashtra, India. It is surrounded by three hills named Harihareshwar, Harshinachal and Pushpadri. The river Savitri enters the Arabian Sea from the town of Harihareshwar. Towards the north of the town is the temple of Lord Harihareshwar, said to have been blessed by Lord Shiva. Hence Harihareshwar is often referred to as Dev-ghar or "house of God". It is also known as Dakshin Kashi...... " Kashi of the South".....

Harihareshwar Temple complex has two adjacent temples. The smaller Kalbhairav temple is expected to be visited first, before entering the main Harihareshwar temple housing an ancient Shiva Linga. A pradakshina route goes around the temple, along the sea shore. It is not advisable to go on this route during high tide.....

    History
The Harihareshwar Temple was built in the late medieval period with the deities of Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva and Parvati in the form of 'linga'. It is the 'kuladaivat' or clan deity of the Peshwas, the prime ministers of the great Maratha Empire. Hence the Peshwas contributed a lot to this temple, including the construction of a charitable rest-house for the devotees who visit the temple. It was even renovated completely in 1723 by Bajirao Peshwa I after having been almost destroyed in a fire. Besides the main temple, there are two temple of Lord Kalbhairav and Goddess Yogeshwari. It is interesting to note that the image of Kalbhairav, a manifestation of Shiva, in this temple faces north. The image of Kalabhairav is almost invariably shown facing south.....

It's a very traditional old temple of Goddess Kusumadevi. It is the perfect place to seek blessings and divine intervention as well. This holy temple is located at a very remote part of Shrivardhan. While coming from Diveagar it can be covered first, if one want to visit will less distance. There is a concrete track that takes us upto half a Km from the temple. But it is for single vehicle only. Last half a Kilometre is a walk in the fields, surrounded by nature and lush green ambience all around.
Very pleasing appearance. One feels highly blessed just by being there and having a darshan. Sit there for some time and experience the calm. Quite a refreshing experience.

Balaji Vishwanath Bhat (1662–1720), better known as Peshwa Balaji Vishwanath, was the first of a series of hereditary Peshwas (Marathi for Prime Minister) hailing from the Marathi Chitpavan Brahmin family who gained effective control of the Maratha Empire during the 18th century. Peshwa Smarak is a place of birth of Shrimant Balaji vishwanath. A small memorial has been built close to the beach near dutta mandir. It takes only 2-3 minutes by the vehicle and just 10 minutes walk from the beach. The place is not maintained but worth a quick visit.
