Beautiful place, I had visited maredumilli earlier during the month of June, this time I visited in February and realized that winters are the best time to visit this place, it's better to visit during weekdays as during weekends it gets very crowded. There's nothing much to do but we can just go around this little town and also visit a few nearby waterfalls, the drive or even walk in the surrounding nature is very rejuvenating.

An auspicious location for a good beginning of the day. Temple is simple and vibrant. An essence of devotion and also a perfect place for marriages with the blessings of the Lord.

The temple is in the middle of the river, need to take a boat to reach there. We went with the family and enjoyed a lot with the peaceful atmosphere. Good thing is they will serve delicious, hot dinner.

Rebuilt in 1870 as a bridge using the irrigation structure built originally in 1852, Sir Arthur Cotton Barrage or Godavari Barrage or Dowleshwaram Barrage is good to drive on, offering nice views on both sides.

Located beside the Godavari Arch bridge, this is a decommissioned bridge that spans the length of the mighty river. Up & close views from the majestic Pushkar Ghat.

With ringside views from Pushkar Ghat, Godavari railroad bridge (with the vehicle on top and the railway line below) is an engineering marvel!
