- Wendy R40 contributionsWe had a lovely 4 night stay in mid September in Klausen/Chiusa. The location was perfect for nearby hikes and we loved exploring the town. The locals were friendly and we enjoyed walking around the town and by the river. We got some beautiful photos. There were 2 grocery stores within walking distance and we needed to stop by the local pharmacy and the pharmacist was delightful (& spoke English very well). For the more sporty, climb up to the top of the hill and visit the ancient fortified monastery (still occupied).
