Wakana is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher who is passionate about Japanese culture, and I really enjoyed the class and learned many new things about the more subtle aspects of Japanese culture.
She helped us with instructions on how to meet her, met us one time, showed us beautiful Ueno Park, wonderful Dorayaki from the famous Usagiya, and a fun and informative calligraphy class!

Yurico's class was perfect: she is a delightful hostess, a wonderful chef, and a patient teacher, especially with a child whose ambition exceeded his attention span.
I also did a calligraphy class at the end - I found it was a great way to unwind after the cooking (almost meditative) and gave a great insight into Japanese culture.

Mokuhankan is a fascinating gallery and workshop space where you can admire the beautiful creations or reproductions by David Bull and his teams of master printers.
After visiting the Sensoji Shrine we stumbled upon Dave's fantastic woodblock workshops.

Fantastic!!! Yuca was very welcoming and her clean, spacious home was perfect for the cooking class.
We learned how to make ramen, gyoza, and matcha roll cake from scratch - the class was great, Yuca had the class in English and gave easy to follow instructions so beginners to expert chefs are able to participate.
