#1 of 25 Nature & Parks in Edogawa
The park has the largest Ferris wheel in Japan, and you can enjoy the great view of the area including the airport, Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Tower and Disneyland.
For a novice birder, like me, it was great as the park has also put up huge posters naming in Japanese, English and Latin the various birds at the park.

The sea life park is decent size to keep everyone amazed for half a day to a full day (if you stay to watch the feeding) with the diverse and rarely seen sea life from all around the world.
There is also out door sections to the park including a large penguin pen and also touch and feel tanks.

The park is quite beautiful with a large pond and well maintained garden areas with lots of large fish and turtles and even a heron on the pond.
The country has hundreds of these green spaces, a society that truly prioritizes solitude, calm, and well-manicured parks in the midst of epic urbanity.

Sumida Park Tokyo 5.9 km away

Sumida Park was our favorite park in Tokyo for viewing of cherry blossoms because it is a riverside park affording beautiful views and interesting buildings across the river.
The Park on Asakusa side would give best view of Tokyo Skytree and the river and Sakura!

You can actually cross over into Saitama prefecture which is a different park on the other side of the river but best done on a bicycle as both parks are reasonably large.
Better to ride a bicycles as the park is huge; book seats if you want to visit nearby restaurants in the Iris flower season.

There is a small garden within the park which an abundance of stunning plants, little benches to sit on and archways teeming with blossom.
I often like to go down here to experience nature and to walk across the interesting suspension bridge which connects the two pieces of the park.
