Starting out early we stopped for coffee etc and had enough time to climb up to the cave and back if you get your coffee/tea to go. I recently had back surgery and didn’t find it difficult at all. We enjoyed the tour guide’s commentary immensely, (Simona I believe?). The walk down wasn’t difficult and for October 22nd the water was still warm once you get in. There were enough umbrella lounges and this beach/lagoon was unique and wonderful. A late lunch on the way back was perfect. I would definitely recommend this tour. - David J1 contributionWe had Captain Attila and his crew, and they were fantastic! Top-notch service and plenty of delicious food and drink. The two stops were out of this world, with stunning views & fun water activities. We were glad we brought our shoes because we hiked up to the Gramvousa fort which was really cool. We enjoyed hearing about Crete as we were driving through the peaceful olive groves and natural scenery. Balos was stunning, and Falasarna Beach was calm and relaxing. Plenty of time to unwind and enjoy the quiet surroundings. Highly recommend this tour—perfect even in the off-season! We were guided by Manu and Nora who were so kind and helpful, easily two of the nicest people we’ve met on our holiday. They were very hospitable and we cannot recommend this tour enough. - CHRISWNewcastle upon Tyne, UK10 contributionsWe were warmly greeting by Kelly and captain Andreas. There were 7 other guests so 9 of us in total - just a nice size. The boat is lovely and the sail to the first stop very enjoyable. The water was pristine, crystal clear and so warm. Kelly prepared us a lovely snack and kept us topped up with drinks. We then sailed over to Balos which was unbelievably busy - not fun - so we sailed to a much quieter bay which was beautiful. We swam and snorkelled while Kelly prepared our lunch. - Richard P3 contributionsLefteri gave us an amazing once in a lifetime experience…Amazing tour to the fort and then Balos beach and I highly recommend listening to his recommendations and taking them…so many little stops on the way that made it that much more special…swims in some isolated places.
We had 10 people on the tour…2 x 10 year olds, 2 x 15 year olds and 6 adults…easily catered for all of us…plenty of drinks and food…

The tour team seamlessly managed a last-minute change to our group, which we really appreciated. Elafonisi Beach was stunning—crystal-clear water, a beautifully maintained beach, and easy to walk around. Sofia our guide treated us to local apples and oranges along the way. Elafonisi was a beach that almost feels like a gigantic warm swimming pool, with pink and metallic hued sand in the water. The cave was an invigorating hike replete with birds, bats, stalactites and a fascinating and tragic history. The Archontas restaurant featured Cretan mountain top cuisine, a sumptuous repost.
