It's a nice place to go to. Not too much tourists making one enjoy the place more. Clean toilets and reasonable entrance fee.

We visited this beach and had a photo session here.. it was very quiet. May be we went there after the rain. We had a great time. The sanda were black and they were clean and soft. The waves were quite big but overall it was a nice experience

The surf was certainly up when we visited this black sand beach in Canggu. Plenty of surfers riding the waves early morning.

One of the best tours imaginable. Dharma was such a kind and knowledgeable guide. The tour gave an authentic and fascinating insight into Balinese culture. The music and dancing is great and the food off the charts delicious!!!

The Ogoh Ogoh museum offers huge statues featuring the heroes and demons of Hindu mythology. These works of art are featured in the yearly Nyepi eve parade (The Mardi Gras floats of New Orleans would be an analogy) They are usually burned after the parade, but these examples are spared for one year to be displayed here. They are the best of the best and offer beautiful insights into Nyepi and Balinese culture in general. The museum is next door to the Taman Ayun Temple. Make a morning of it!

Having visited the more popular Tanah Lot temple we were surprised at how quiet this location is.
We were staying at Bali Natha Beachfront Private Bungalows some 200 metres away. We were the only ones fortunate enough to visit at low tide with the exception of local fishermen. Less Comercial than Tanah Lot. Same access restrictions to the “sacred area” no charge.
It was a smaller version than its counterpart without the crowds.

There is a lookout which a lot of people go to, but there is a path down to a really cool cave to explore and get some great photos. Only cost 10,000 ($1 aud) each . Path is off the beaten track, so if you're not used to that be careful as the stairs can be slippery but there is a rail. Well worth it, but this is not set up as a tourist hub, something that we personally liked, but others may not. Great work out as well . More than just an instagram photo on a look out
