5 out of 5 rating. An absolutely amazing experience. All staff were friendly, passionate and welcoming about their job. We were greeted by the owner, who was such a nice man. We then had a workshop on clog and cheese making with Dilo - another friendly and passionate man. I would highly recommend this experience to any tourist. We caught the train + tram to the location (included a 20 min walk). Thank you for a great experience. Highly recommend this place-

The shadshart is getting new shops. I have been going here since 1998 and it has its up and downs. Now is an up period. Parking garage is open at the former V & D, the Albert Hein and various spots outside.

"Almost unreal;Willem van Veldhuizen" is the current expo at this museum;the museum is larger than it looks from outside and is was not very busy.Museum Jan van der Togt offers modern art and the museum is situated next to the historic Amstelveen village church in an area that still feels like a village. The collection is small ,featuring glass objects and modern sculptures and paintings.I enjoyed my brief visit,MJK free, otherwise expensive entry fee for the few object and paintings you get to see.

There some periodical expositions there that are really interesting, although the museum is not so big.

This is also an excellent book store with an English and children's section. The coffee shop features good coffee and cakes. Parking is once again an issue as this is on the square of the Shadshart and you need to take a parking garage.

I went with my son’s 8 birthday party and the boys loved the lasergame. We were a bit early and the got to go twice. We even got the VIP room which was a big bonus.

The farmer explained us, with a wide sense of humor, the tradional processes of the cheese making and clogs producing. He demostrated manufacturing of clog from a raw piece of wood. Very interesting
