Unfortunately, last time we were there, signs were posted up saying no public swimming. Not entirely sure if it was temporary or permanent. Lots of fun jumping off rocks and hanging out.

There's one very good reason that explains why we live in St Marys for the last 20 years -- it's the quarry! The best swimming spot bar none and you'll find us there most days during the summer months when the quarry is open. Deep, clean, still waters and a huge space to explore. A place to do lengths, play... More

Let go of your preconceived notions of what a swimming place should look like and jump into adventure! The Quarry is unmatched in uniqueness and beauty. Carved rock....ladders to climb in and out of the water....a fun water trampoline for youngsters and young at heart! THIS is an experience you shouldnt miss when in St Marys. Bring your blankets and... More

What a neat experience for the family! My only complaint would be that we got different rules from different life guards. Other than that, it was a great experience and we will be back.

I have been visiting and enjoying this quarry for over 20 years and for the past 5 years it has simply gone to crap! Water depth down one foot....quarry averages well over 30 feet deep yet you can even jump off the edge into the water anymore. Enter via ladder only??? No low medium or high diving board and no... I bought a couple of certificates for a sugar bush ride at nearby McCully's Hill Farm and wanted to make a day of it in St Mary's so did some research on TripAdvisor for some nearby activities. This popped up so figured I would check it out. This place from my understanding has changed a bit over the years and... More

Growing up in St. Marys, I wanted to share my childhood experiences with friends. While impressed with the vastness of the Quarry, they were sadly disappointed by the closure of the High Dive, low board and Cliffs. These are some of the features that make the Quarry so memorable.
