This Monastery where the movie the Name of the Rose was filmed is a very good example of medieval times. In very good conditions and with a beautiful surrounding of green and flowers. Ideal to visit on a sunny afternoon.

this was THE worst part of our trip. parking costs a fortune: EUR4.00 for 24hrs, with NO option to pay less (we were there for 30min) Entrance fee of EUR9.00 also on the very high side. unfriendly parking staff.
