True Links Golf

Nary a tree but plenty of wind, wildlife, grass rough, donkey, scenery, difficulty, burns, etc. etc. Great little course on the Dingle Peninsula. Worth a detour.

1st time 1st course in Ireland and I wasn't disappointed. The 1st hole got me after a good tee shot, I hooked my second shot into the burn. The front 9 was pretty fair, nice views, but the back 9 kicked it up a notch, blind tee shots, 2nd shots. Great views of the mountains and the bay. The 19th... More

Lovers of golfing outposts should put this on top of their bucket list. It's a remote, wild spot, but well worth the drive along the Dingle peninsula. The course doesn't have the high dunes of a Ballybunion or Waterville, but the humps, hollows and proximity to the sea qualify it as a traditional links. And the burn which winds around... More

This is a friendly links course, with clubhouse and proshop. We don't recommend the bar-food but there's nothing lacking in the welcome.

My wife and I went there to be on the edge of the European golf world. And that was our priority. But the course took us beyond the edge of our motives and we loved it. Wonderful challenges that were not punishing. And wonderful vistas that were not imagined. And a welcoming pro, staff and fellow players. Just a magic... More

This was a pleasant surprise. We played on Thursday and the place was very calm. The sun was up and the wind pleasant. There are a lot of pretty holes. This is not a links course per se but plays a bit like one. Some of the walking is very uphill so it could be hard for some people. The... More

What a gem! The quality of this club starts as soon as you walk in. Friendly and willing staff and members find it so easy to make sure you not only enjoy your visit, but that you'll also have no problem returning. We played the course on two consecutive days in a seniors competition and were blessed with the weather,... More

Such a fun authentic links course! Very reasonable rates to play and low-key atmosphere. Great creek running through to add a challenge on multiple holes.
