We highly recommend the hike to the beach and then to the waterfall. When you get to the waterfall make sure you go all the way to the pool - it is outstanding. There are several tough river crossings and some of the trail was...More

We were fortunate to see the coast both by small boat to explore the caves and by helicopter for an arias view and the combination was perfect to truly enjoy the magnificent beauty that is the Na Pali Coast. We had teenagers though by 80...More

We did the hike along the coast in less than 3 hours (round-trip). We ended our hike at the beach. I had an aircast on and found the hike to be fairly easy. There were 3-4 areas that boasted amazing views of the coast and...More

The first two miles of this hike are spectacular. Both my Wife & I are former division 1 athletes and still very active, I must say it was fairly hard for her. It is a little tougher then written about and also bring a OLD...More

Unless you take a boat tour (not available from October until around April due to rough seas) or are up to some strenuous hiking to get there, I don't know how you really can enjoy this area. Helicopter?

North of Princeville and Hanalei is the kalalau trail of the Na Pali coast. It is not for the faint-hearted. We just finished the first part of the hike to Hanakapiai beach; the rain on this side of Kauai can be incessant. The trail, normally...More

Just part of the great scenery in HI, a few great spots to view waves crashing on rocks and a blowhole near Allerton Gardens.

I have visited many times. By boat, by zodiac, by kayak and by hiking. Depending on the level of adventure and season- all ways are amazing. One of the most amazing places I have ever been.

This place is simply gorgeous. I had the chance to see this place with my own eyes due to the cruise line Norwegian (Pride of America) as this ship makes a detour to see the coast from the water. It’s beautiful to see nature in...More

Beautiful views on the way to the State Park Drive here and stopped there to see magnificent views. Narrow roads, that wind their way. Worth your effort to do this

We spent a week in Kauai and it was worth it. I would recommend a plane ride instead of a helicopter ride. We used Wings over Kauai and it cost us $250. A helicopter ride cost $500 and basically it took you to the same spots... More

It is on the island of Kauai, but short flight for day trip. I think it would be well worth it to visit for the day.
