It is a beautiful Tea estate with a good restaurant. The food is also good but the host is more concerned about guests who might arrive rather than seated guests as they have a "busy lunch hour" so as told by the host that they might even ask you to leave if they have more guests arriving which leaves a bad taste after a wonderful plate of food. Because one wants to enjoy your food with a view but it seems they are more concerned with expected guests rather than who are already sitting in the restaurant. Not an ideal end to a good experience.

The location, services and hospitality all were brilliant. Delicious food from fresh quality produce from their kitchen garden. We were looking for some peaceful times and that was duly granted. Upasana and her whole family are great to have conversations with, everyone was so generous and sweet. Property and staff are also extremely good.

We loved the experience.
The host shared lots of knowledge on the tea & process. The owner was also very interactive with the group & an excellent host.
They let you taste variety of tea & also you can take lots of photos around the property. They have good collection of tea at very reasonable price that you can purchase.
There is also a beautiful cafe on the property surrounded by beautiful tea garden.
It was a really goof tour. Its a must visit in Palampur.

This is an absolute must visit place if you are in and around Dharamshala. In fact our family liked this place more than any of the sights in the region.

It was a nice experience.
Mr Punitji had explained wah tea estate history, the process of tea plucking to packing and the types of tea...
There was tea testing also while having a tour which is 40 mins...
You can taste n buy your favourite tea...
There is a cafe also where u can enjoy the view of the tea estate with some tea and food, which is run by Ms. Kaveri. We had sprouted salad, mixed veg paratha which was good, different and healthy too, spaghetti with olive oil and garlic and lastly iced tea.
So overall had a good onetime experience.

This was the most heartwarming and wholesome experience we had1
We had visited here on a spare day as we had nothing to do expecting this to be just one of the many tea estates in and around that area. But boy we were wrong! This place is a complete package.. It has a tea factory where Mr. Punit will guide you through the process of tea making from the history of origin of tea, to right way of plucking to the final product.. difference between various forms of tea and in general everything related to tea. This is done at a minimal fees of Rs. 150/- per head and is totally worth the money. This is followed by a delicate tea tasting session where one can taste around 10 varieties of tea. The place also has a cafe and a reading corner where you can enjoy a book overlooking the beautiful tea gardens along with a cup of tea or play a board game or two along with a snack on the side. The cafe serves delicious food. Ideal time to visit would be from 2PM to 5PM when the sun is just about right and the whether is pleasant.
It is a 10/10 and a must visit in our opinion! :)
PS : You might also get to meet the owner of the tea estate, like we did, who will guide you to exclusive things to do in and around the area which might not come up on google when you search about the area.

I understand the estate is closed on Mondays.
Are there any other similar tea estates in Palampur and/or Dharamshala that are also worth a visit ?
with guided tours
Thanks.

Is the tour free or any charges?
Can we purchase the tea there and what will be the prices?

Dear Amar, the tour costs Rs 150 per person. It includes sharing the history of tea, of the estate, the manufacturing and plucking process, and ends with a tea tasting session. Yes, you can purchase the tea there the prices for which vary but are available at discounted rates compared to the market.
