Overview
A beautiful view and a gushing waterfall await you as a part of this Jeep Safari.
Accessible only to Exsul guests, the waterfall is part of a temple complex attended to by a charismatic medicant, affectionately called Babaji. He moved to the hills decades ago and has tended to this temple dedicated to the goddess of the hills, Vindhyavasini. Past the temple, a tunnel through the
mountainside, built by a hydro-electric power generation company, allows you to walk a little further. At the end of this road, you can find a massive rock that hangs over the valley below.
If you sit quietly and you are lucky, you just might spot black bears sunning themselves in the distance.

We did "hike up, jeep down" activity. We hiked up for about an hour, took a drinks break, then we walked on plain road for about 20 mins to reach a serene and quite temple away from the rush of other famous temples. The priest was super nice, and very calmly explained the origin of the temple. Then we crossed a 400m long pitch dark tunnel which was a unique experience. On the other side, we set up picnic table, chair at a amazing spot with breathtaking views and had freshly cooked samosas, cookies, tea and coffee. It was a great experience, and we came down in the jeep. The staff was very courteous and super nice. Thanks to Rajendar ji, Amar ji and Raajmal ji for an amazing experience. Note that we had the option to board the jeep instead of walking up at 3 points during the hike.

VILLAGE WALK AND OFF ROAD DRIVE I visited Palampur, along with my 2 friends and decided to engage with Exsul. This turned out to be the best call of our entire trip. Right from the village walk at a top of the mountain with Diana (Charming & Christmassy) to the suggestions where we would eat local food. She is amazing. Our first off road car drive with Zora was breathtaking. The drive looked so risky but the kind of control shown by Zora left us speechless. The warmness of Hari (owner), their staff, felt like a reunion of friends.

I had the fortune of going to India days before the coronavirus shutdown. My trip was planned with Exsul travel. I told them I wanted a diverse experience in food and culture. They were fantastic! I was fearful I might might run into problems If I did it myself and I have traveled extensive. Not only did I see the Golden Temple, Taj Mahal, and the Himalayan Mountains, but I got a historic India education that was fascinating. They were attentive to all my needs and asked lots of questions ensure I got the experience I was looking for. I was very happy with their knowledge and services.
