From Hospete, it is just 20 mins drive to TN dam. Shuttle facility is available at the entrance to reach the Dam. But I would recommend others to walk to enjoy the cool breeze. Very well lit. Safest to walk at night time as well.

The monuments of Hampi may make your kids bored. Take them to the TB dam. There is a garden, pedal boating and a great view of the dam. Good experience.

The reservoir is huge and the walk up is kind of nice.. but the best view would be when the dam is open.. so timing the visit correctly is important

A great 1 and a half km walk with slight drizzling made this a worth place to visit. This place is as clean a place you will get to visit in India. So worth a visit. The garden view to the dam is pretty pleasing

Its really very basic and not up to the mark. You can avoid it. Enjoy the view and sunset from the Dam top and return back.
