Great day out, lovely animals and great to get the opportunity to feed some of them! The gift shop was fab as was the cafe. The only downside was the steam train which we waited 20 minutes for and it only last about 30 seconds

There is another smaller zoo called south lakes safari park on the A between cockermouth and keswick if you have sat navigation you will find it easily it's smaller and can be done in a few hours and is well worth a visit on... More

Loads of good places for camping in lakes plenty for all ages easy to get around and not far from the safari zoo
