Did the Extreme Package. The drive there is 1/3rd unpaved, steep and a 4wd vehicle is a must. We began our tour with the Hanging Bridges which offered Canopy and treetop views of the Rain Forest below. The bridges swing slightly but we felt safe...More

First, I should state that we did not do the adventure activities (zip line and swing). The forest was beautiful, but this place felt too touristy after spending days on nature walks. Does have a beautiful hummingbird garden.

This was such a great excursion! We did the zip lining plus the suspension bridges and it was worth the money. I've zip lined a few other places and this was by far the best one! They have a mix of short lines and long...More

This place was the highlight of my trip! From walking the bridges to the Butterfly garden and the Ziplines.. DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The walk through the 8 hanging bridges is a rough one- ALL UPHILL- but it is totally worth it for the amazing views!!...More

We walked the 8 canopy bridges which was nice but not a great deal more life than walking at ground level in the parks. At $30 including pick up and drop off it was reasonable value for money as st elena nature park is $14...More

As a prequel to zip lining we took the gentle walk around the jungle over several hanging suspension bridges seeing lots of different wildlife. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly an obvious cared a lot about the environment. Not many people when we were there...More

Hour-plus walkabout through the lush jungle on a two-mile long winding path over eight suspension bridges than range from 150 feet to 510 feet long and as much as 180 feet above the ground. Go as early as possible. The park was not crowded when...More

So much to do, we struggled to fit it all in. The guides were fantastic and we enjoyed seeing the various exhibits. The hummingbirds were a most delightful surprise! The highlight however was the thrilling canopy tour ending with a 'superman' flight over the forest.

This was my absolute favorite part about my entire trip in Costa Rica. The staff here, including PePe and Roger, makes you feel like family even though they just met you. Their zip line staff has such a good sense of humor about them I...More

I did the hanging bridges with access to the hummingbird garden and the reptile area. All 3 and transportation to/from the hotel costs around $60 booked through the hotel.

It was not very expensive, in my opinion. A 15-line zip tour was only $50 and took us two hours. It was incredible. And they have many other activities. The gift shop is very reasonable. Everyone is SUPER NICE!!! PURA VIDA!!

Hello It will probably take 3 to 4 hours as you have to reach monteverde with slow roads.
