Having visited the region many times before, we just hadn't managed to find the time to make this a priority activity when we were here. Boy, have we made a mistake! I've heard from many that this trip would be interesting, but after finishing up...More

Who knew this great museum is 'hiding' near Lake Garda! What a wonderful experience, driving up with a car and then walking around 500 meters to the museum in this green, beautiful scenery. Nice little bar, great for ice cream or cafe :) , together...More

A lot of thought and effort has gone into preserving the history of the paper mills. Went with my two children (6 & 7) and they enjoyed it too. I was told by our hotel that Toscalano was the first place to print maps on...More

We walk this often with our visitors, and they are always fascinated by the history. Museum is good, but if you just want to do the walk there are lots of signs explaining about buildings as well as flora and fauna
