I have the privilege of being able to ride this trail several times a year. It may not be a challenging trail, as far as difficulty goes, but there is some incredible scenery, lots of trestles, some tunnels, and lots of really cool history. If you want a bit more of a challenge, it's an awesome ride from Kelowna(Myra Station... More

The trail was hard to follow at times as there were lots of side trails both up and down. the poison ivy markers were helpful until we got close to the falls and continued up instead of following the creek. We ended up climbing up a steep crevasse up onto the kettle valley trail. The visitor center had the best... More

This was overall a great experience when we finally made it to the top of the dirt road that took us there. Gorgeous views and really interesting terrain particularly after the big fire. You can see the forest rejuvenating. And of course the trestles themselves have been rebuilt. Big question though is why someone doesn't take care of the road... More

We stayed at the Bowmont Motel and cycled 4 different routes of the KVR right from our room. We cycled to the Little Tunnel on the Naramata Bench (our fav so we did it twice). This trail was approx. 40 K return. The trails conditions are excellent. The trail after the Little Tunnel not so much unless you are riding... More

Fantastic! Cycled from Myra Canyon section down to stay overnight at Chute Lake, then on to Penticton the next day. The scenery was great especially at Myra and the last 25km into Penticton. Make sure you take time to explore the rock ovens between Chute Lake and the long tunnel. Bring plenty of water since you are out of the... More

Excellent . It is 1912 stream engine . You leave from a old railway station complete with the conductor in full old time uniform. They have guitar player on board. The trip takes 1/1/2 hrs. It is excellent trip for the price of $23 for adults.

There is a great railway trail starting in Penticton from inside the grounds of Wright's Beach Camp, which is on the south entrance to town, on Skaha Lake. This trail follows the side of the lake heading south through the village of Kaleden. You do have to ride a short distance on a lightly traveled section of paved road here.... More

Spectacular views across miles of mountainous country with an excellent flat trail to walk or bike. Just perfect for a few hours or a lt more time if you have it. Give it a go. You can even hire bikes up there.

Only walked a portion of the trail just outside Penticton but it was really nice. Walking throught the vineyards was so pleasant. I was surprised that there weren't a lot of people on the trail, of those mostly bicyclers. I stopped at the Trail Store and had an ice cream which hit the spot. The trail goes by several wine... What a great experience! Definitely a must do. We biked from Myra Canyon to the first tunnel. We were told from one of the Myra Canyon bike rentals staff that it was 4k to the tunnel. The youngest in our group was 6 and he managed to do the return trip! It's flat but can be bumpy in spots. Fine... More
