If sightseeing is their thing, then the best place to go is Gungnamji Pond.
Gungnamji Pond is the place where the legend of King Mu, Seodongyo, who married Princess Seonhwa of Silla, lies. In July, there hold in the Seodong Lotus Festival where the beauty of lotus can be truly experienced. The lotus flowers, which are in full bloom in the pond, made me keep my mouth open in awe. And the bridge located in the pond is a great place to take a picture. Also In October and November, there will be the Goodtrae Crysanthemum Exhibition. If you want to enjoy Baekje's landscaping gardening skills, I can't recommend it enough.
Buyeo-gun has many interesting places that are perfect if you like history. I think it's well worth a visit. I hope my review is helpful for your travel.

I was satisfied with wonderful scenery here. I could see a lot of lotus in this place, which is beautiful. In the middle of the garden, there is a lake. What’s more, it has a huge swing in here, which is not modern shape of swing but another shape of it that people used to use in the past. On top of that, there are many benches that people can rest and talk. I could feel comfortable in this place, because I could see and feel nature close. I recommend to visit here if you are interested in historical place.

Very interesting place. I loved it. I read a bit about the place from VsitKorea.com which says “Gungnamji Pond is, located in Seodong Park, is Korea’s first artificial pond and was created by King Mu from the Baekje dynasty, who was in love with and eventually married Princess Seonhwa. Gungnamji, literally means “a pond in the south of the royal palace” in Korean, was named according to the Samguksagi record, based on which the King Mu dug this lake south of his palace in the 35th year of his reign and connected it by a 7800-meter long waterway to the water source. The king then had willow trees planted around the bank and had an artificial mound constructed in the middle of the lake.” It’s really wonderful how Lorea preserves such historical sites.

I took the time to drive here from seeing it on a Korean drama called Mr Queen. It was easy to navigate using just the car’s navigation system. Parking was easily available and the pond has many places to walk and take many photos. There were local food tents but they weren’t open yet as i was early and jt was raining. When you go say a prayer for my cats ashes that are this pretty place. Watch Mr Queen then go!

Located in the middle of Seodong Park (also worth a visit), this consists of a pavilion on a small 'island' in the centre of a large, ornamental pond, accessed via a long wooden bridge.
The pond has fountains which spring into life on a timer - we reckoned it was approximately every 45 minutes, but we might be incorrect on that - and, when flowing, the water is shaped like the lotus flower.
The water is lovely and clear and teeming with fish, which you can see from the water's edge, but an even better view is gained from the small bridge - the sides are only about knee height, so be careful with small children.
Once on the 'island' the pavilion is simple - you are required to take off your shoes if you wish to step inside - but you get a good 360 degree view of the park surrounding the pond.
In conjunction with the lotus park and perhaps the Museum in the town, this is a lovely place to visit.

Gungnamji Pond is the center piece of Seodong Park with a photogenic pavilion in the middle as its centerpiece that is connected by a bridge. The image is all over the tourist brochures of Buyeo and when it’s not crowded with people clogging the bridge for their Instagram photo it’s a nice place to visit.
