Fountain Cavern is known for its 1000-year-old pictographs. Near the cavern is a spring where you can put your feet in and have the fish give them a good cleaning. (Try it, it’s fun) Continuing down the road you will pass the wind turbine field. Allow at least half a day for this trip and consider spending your afternoon cooling off in Baby Beach nearby

Visited this cave as part of an island jeep tour. Got here at the end of the day but they found the ranger to open up the gate so we could go inside for a quick look. As caves go this was quite small and not the most impressive but it had some interesting cave paintings.

One of the caves you have to visit if you are touring the National Park, to enter it you have to pay 20 dollars per adult. But there are several attractions that can be explored. This cave is worth even seeing paintings of the natives. Very interesting!

This cave is really awesome to check out! It is shocking to see how preserved it is and the cool writings on the wall. It was nice to be with a tour guide, to get factual information and to keep us on the path. She warned us of bats and cockroaches, and made sure we were respectful of the area!

Fontein Cave in Aruba is a must see. Our guide was very good and explained thoroughly about the surrounding and the formation in the caves. The tree roots growing underground were unbelievable. How the rocks have shaped up looking like animals and different objects was amazing to see. It is a must se on your visit to Aruba

this is the 2nd cave we visited. this is the smaller of the 2 caves. But it has unique history and very cool formations. Here also we got a park service to give us a tour. Danny was wonderful giving us details of the ancient Indian paintings inside the cave. He also gave us a tour of the surrounding areas including the flora and fauna. We also went to close by fountain and we were able to dip our feet in it and the fish give us a pedicure. Such a cool experience. We also were able to spot a boa constrictor in the wild. Time well spent

This cave was worth visiting if you can make it in for awhile without a big tour group present. There are really cool ancient writings throughout, as well as ancient drawings. To bad some people have to touch history inappropriately.

The ranger was excellent in explaining the history of the cave and a bunch of interesting facts about how it currently stands. The ranger was wonderfully polite as well. We had a fun time at this quick stop which was concluded with fish nibbling our feet in the pond just outside. It was like getting a free foot massage.

Don’t make a special trip for this. I would recommend going only if you are already in the area. It’s only two little rooms, and doesn’t have any impressive formations. There was a park service staff in the cave giving impromptu short tours.
The highlight was seeing and hearing the goats in the brush nearby.

Worth a visit to see the 1000 year old cave paintings. Lots of other spots of interest witching the park to check out . Also checked out the nearby Quadirikiri caves which were great and worth a stop at

Would the walk to the caves and through the caves be considered "strenuous"? It doesn't appear to be, but one tour (separate) tour description indicated it could be strenuous for some participants. Thanks!

You can drive the rental car to the Cave (carefully!) but it's not far from the paved road, so it is walkable if you're worried about damage to the car.

I’m so sorry, but I have no idea. No one in our party had any troubles. I suppose anything is possible. The cave is worth the visit even if you elect not to do the fish “pedi”

Help! I can't find any tours ( bus atv jeep whatever) to the Fonteyn cave .. Staying at Renaissance in downtown.. Love to visit in next couple days ..thanks!!

Just rent a 4WD jeep for about $100 for the whole day and drive down there. That way, you can go to the caves, but also drive along the coast and do other things. It's the best way, for sure.

You have to pay to go into the park. I don't remember exactly how much, sorry; something like 11 dollars x person. And then you have access all over the park, caves included. It's a very wild place but interesting, many natural attractions. Enjoy
