Acantilados de Azcorri (literally Azkorri cliffs) are a zone of the Euskera coast located in the surroundings of Bilbao, a city in the north part of Iberian Peninsula. Herr you can walk around thr coast and enjoy with the very beautiful views of the cliffs, the towns and the sea. In fact, here there are some restaurants, where you can eat local dishes. Very nice.

The views are fantastic. I enjoy going to the rim of the cliffs and absorbing the beauty. I like to observe the paragliders. It is lovely to see them enjoy the views. I love their coordinated dance on the air.

We parked in the large car park above Playa de Azkorri and decided it was a bit of a hike to the beach so walked the cliff path in direction of Bilbao as it was paved and flatter going than the other direction. Concrete seats are dotted along at various points and it’s just nice to sit and look out to sea or down across the beach. Not sure how far the trails stretch (Getxo/Sopelana perhaps?) but we walked for a reasonable distance before turning back. It was a nice Saturday afternoon when we visited the area and locals were out in force taking their constitutionals. Well worth making a detour here if in the area.

Very nice walk with great views over to Portugalete and then towards the open sea as you get closer to the cliffs.
It's not a demanding walk, I've seen people of all ages and fitness levels doing and enjoying it, so on a fine day it's highly recommended.
Even though a lot of people enjoy this seaside area, you can easily find a secluded spot for yourself and enjoy the view on your own.
There are some water taps at various points of the walk, but do bring your own food if you want to do a picnic.

We walked from town, Algorta, and it took us 30-40 minutes to get to Azkorri beach. We decended via a small steepy path and got up later via the "driveway". Looking out to the sea, the left hand was crowded by nudists. The bar at the right side was cosy and we had some beers and shared a patata frita. Lifeguards put flags where you are allowed to access the water, strong currants.

I do this walk very often simply because I love it. You'll find many locals on any given day, either walking, running or riding their bike. Views from the cliffs are spectacular. A few beaches along the way. The walk stretches all the way from Bidezabal to Larrabasterra (or even Plencia) where you can take the metro to return if you do a one way walk.

Park your car in the Aixerrota Wind Mill and start heading north towards the old fort ruins. There is only one path, so it is difficult to get lost. You have kilometres of stunning views and a lovely walk ahead of you with the sea on the left and first some beautiful mansions followed by one of the most elite golf courses in Spain on the right hand side.
Better on a sunny day!
