My wife and I went to see The Ed Sullivan review show. Great take on Ed Sullivan with many guests. Connie Francis, Leslie Gore, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly plus a few more. Great musicians backing up singers. Over 2 great hours of fun.

I'm new to Port Dover buy not to Theater. I have enjoyed other summer theater like The Shaw and Stratford Festival and seen shows in Toronto, New York and the last two summers in London, England. The Lighthouse Theater lets you be up close and fell the play as well as see and hear. The acting is professional and you... More

A week ago myself and three other ladies attended the Theatre for the show, Oh Canada We sing for Thee. What an enjoyable evening. Two of the ladies have a few mobility issues. These obstacles are definitely not an issue at this venue whatsoever. There is an elevator at the ready to easily move you from floor to floor. I... More

the volunteers cannot do enough for you....and the plays are always top notch.. Just saw Jonas & Barry and what an amazing show to end the summer with. Would see it again, but there are no tickets available. Looking forward to the 2017 summer season

My wife and I purchased the Lighthouse Festival Theatre package. It included 2 tickets to a theatre production, 1 night at the Erie Beach House hotel including at the hotel $40 for dinner and a breakfast voucher. Very well acted play. It was called the Perfect Wedding and was a very physically funny show. For those of you who know... More

We attended the Perfect Wedding evening performance at the Lighthouse Festival Theatre and it was definitely a 5 star show. The actors within this comedy never missed a beat - I have seen shows on Broadway, NY and in Toronto - they could truly stand side by side. Stage setting was extremely well done too. I loved the 50/50 draw... More

We attended local theatre here with a large group of friends. The theatre is intimate and productions are very enthusiastic. Theatre crowd is mainly senior and productions appeal to that crowd -- usually light with lots of giggles--- The theatre is accessible. Parking is a challenge unless you arrive very early . Port Dover is a delightful town -- a... More

Port Dover is a beautiful place to go for the day, you can take in lunch on the beach and then enjoy a good play at the Lighthouse Theatre either a show in the afternoon or evening. This is a small local theatre but always has great plays on their summer listings.

Friends visited Port Dover for the first time and had an excellent lunch at the Erie Beach Hotel, the Cove Room which is one block from the beach and two blocks to the Theatre. The production company was excellent all talented actors performing in a World Premiere of Something Fishy. We found the staging and acting excellent but we also... More

Last time we spoke to a neighbour, she was positively breathless in her praise of the Lighthouse Festival Theatre. We gave it a try with a package of three shows this season. Sad to say we can't recommend it. There are MUCH better options in Ontario's small towns. Community Theatre is a wonderful institution. It provides a launch pad for... More
