The water is really warm. It's also very clean although it doesn't look as clear as in Paleokastritsa or Kassiopi since there is sand as you step into the sea. The beach is a mix of (mostly) pebbles and sand, and there is a gentle...More

The whole town of Dassia seems to be suffering because the two big Chandros hotels are closed. The missing 1000 beds means there isn't really enough trade for all the shops and restaurants. Many are closed and the whole place has - compared to Ipsos...More

Of all the beaches we visited on Corfu, this one was relatively underwhelming. Big and crowded, they charge for sunbeds plus obligatory order of drinks/food on top of that. Gravelly, pretty shallow with somewhat deeper parts. Nice dock to jump off. Given Corfu's gorgeous beaches,...More

It's hot hot hot...made of pebbles so a little annoying on your feet. We rented a pedalo which is €15 an hours which was very good but beware of the sun factor 50 was no help

The beach is nice, clean and not to crowded, even in July. The other people on the beach are a mix of age, and families, dominated by groups of young people, but all well behaving. Mainly sand with smaller pebbles on the beach. The first...More

The heading says it all. Head to Ipsos if you want fun but the beach there is the same as Dassia. We hired a boat and just sailed up the east coast and found some great beaches.

Not much of a beach at all. Narrow and stony. Not very clean either. Another problem is the two nearby large hotels which are being rebuilt - noise and dust. The beaches on the north and west coasts are better.

This is a pebbly beach with a really close sea. Along the beach are bars and restaurants as well as boat trips.

The area nearer town can be noisy and further north is much better - it is a long beach, find out where the hotel is.

I found Dassia to be very relaxing. Regarding the loud misic it all depends with what part of the beach you`re at. There are some beach clubs that are mostly frequented by young people so it can be a bit loud to some peoples... More
