Had a drink here before dinner and although charming interior and half a dozen patrons was a bit quiet for my liking. Probably better on a weekend.

I have been in Gilligans on several occasions and it ranges from a packed house to scant crowd but the craic is good and is a popular watering hole in the town with good beer and service and clean facilities.

It's a very small pub and family run. I don't think it would be a problem to bring your child in during the day but check with staff as to what time children have to be off the premises.
