A beautifully restored cinema straight out of the 1938 art-deco style. Book a table downstairs for tea/coffee/drinks to your table along with snacks. Lounge back in the very comfy chairs and enjoy a film with a fantastic view and excellent sound. Two adults for the matinee was £6:50 each... a snip compared with the big chains and such higher quality.... More

This beautifully restored art deco treasure has quiet rightly been voted the best cinema in Europe. The interior, seating, staff and programe's are all first class. Enjoying a drink while seated downstairs in the large comfy chairs at a table is as a good as any cinema trip will get.

We love this cinema as it always feels like such an occasion when we visit. The period Decor and comfy seats make watching films so much more enjoyable and you can even get a drink in a proper glass and take it you your seat / table.
