Great professional atmosphere. The guide spoke perfect English and immediately asked about our licence, number of dives and last time diving. We immediately felt that we would be in good hands here. As a first dive he took us to an easier dive site to test our skills and get used to each other which made us feel even more comfortable.
During the dives he made lots of good quality photos and pointed out many species that he would later explain (yes we also saw a couple of turtles).
Great place to dive, highly recommend!
Tip: bring enough cash to the Island since the ATMs only accept local banks. Luckily they were kind enough to think with us and let us pay by PayPal. Otherwise eating would have been difficult.

I have stayed at many dive resorts and dive shops in SE Asia and whenever I dive in Taiwan, I always come back and dive with Odyssey. The Owner and staff are so professional and friendly. The dive sites are easy entry and exit and the instructors are helpful and make every dive a great experience. When I stayed at the Center, it was so accommodating, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend diving in Xiaoliuqiu and if you do, you must stay at Odyssey. If looking for a diving course, look no further- you will feel safe and taken care of throughout your course.

With Odyssey Divers I found what I was looking for. Very friendly and helpful guides with a very good command of English. I felt more than safe on my dives. Especially when you are not a frequent diver that counts a lot.
I stayed there for one night and was happy with the accomodation and all the other friendly people around me. I can highly recommend Odyssey Divers and definitely go there again next time.

Visiting Taiwan and wanna have an amazing dive experience? That’s the place to go!! I prefer it over Bali to be honest. And Odyssey is the diving school you wanna use. Easy communication via Line and perfect arrangements. Really safe and care taking and awesome photos as you can see. Perfect English as well. He gave me the pictures and videos for free which is insanely kind. Also really cheap! 10/10 for sure! :)

Lovely doggies welcomed us and people there were so friendly and kind to us, they sent us back to our accommodation after each diving day....and also pick up us in the morning ...they provided us warm atmosphere like home! They are very professional bringing us the great dive sites ( not that wavy on surface) and then we could see a lot a lot underwater... Water was clear and we enjoyed so much the diving experience with Odyssey! I also took the frog finning course to practise my finning skills... Jun was very patient and taught us little by little... and we finally got improvements! Thanks to his training and patience. We will be back soon!

We had an awesome time with Jun as our Instructor and he was very easy and flexible with the booking. On top we got great pictures after the dive wich was super cool :)

Another amazing diving experience - they’re the best 😻The instructors are so experienced and caring and the place feels like a real home - a rescued cat and dog and tea made with herbs from their own vegetable patch 🥰

The dive instructors are fantastic! They speak fluent English and are so friendly and knowledgeable. This was our second time, and we look forward to seeing them again on our next break!

I've been looking to place a dive or two on the island and was looking for a dive shop that could meet the following criteria:
- Taking diving safety seriously
- Being away from the beaten path and crowded places
- Focusing on the customer need
- Speaking good English
- Being very professional
You might think this is a lot to ask, but Jun @ Odysee Divers delivered and exceeded on all of the above! Not only that the overall experience was affordable for the quality of service I received and if anything I wish I could have spent the night there as his hostel feels quite welcoming and clean.
A few tidbits about my experience:
- Jun was very flexible about the time I wanted to plan my dive. He did answer a lot of questions I had about what can be done via LINE the days prior.
- The shop was easy to find.
- Upon arrival, we went through the regular paperwork, and then he provided me with my equipment and double-check that I set up everything properly.
- I then went with my instructor to the shore dive site. My instructor briefed me on the site and warned me about the wave
- Underwater he took some great videos and pictures that made for some great memories of the dive.
- We dived as long as I had enough air (within the safety margin) which gave me a memorable 60 minutes long exploration.
- The instructor was making sure to point out the sea life. We saw 6 turtles and a few fishes.
Jun was also able to arrange a snorkeling trip at a nearby shop he also provided with a great recommendation of restaurants very close to his shop.
Note: I went there on a Monday, and the experience on the weekend can be different since it is known that the island gets much much more crowded. If you want a more relaxing experience, definitely book during the week.
