Lake Ballard - only 51 km from Menzies, 20 km of bitumen and then 30km of well looked after "dirt", was in excellent condition. The 51 sculptures are spread all over the lake and we visited as many as we could without getting too muddy....More

We drove to Lake Ballard in a 2 WD car , road is orange gravel & was easy drive. Also depends how wet the road is from rain fall. Locals very good at advising on road conditions.
