The now privately owned station is open to the public and beautifully restored. Standing on the platform you can imagine the Royal Family arriving for Christmas! It’s a shame the the next station along in our village hasn’t been kept in quite the same way....More
Although privately owned, the owner allows visitors on the platform and in the exhibition shed when they can. The memorabilia is really interesting and it is free - donations can be made for the local Cheshire home for the disabled.
