Our Kaziranga trip starting from Guwahati and to the Jorhat airport was arranged by Priyanku from KazirangaAdventures.com It was first time that our trip went flawless thanks to Priyanku, who arranged very good drivers and well managed safaris at prices that you won't get anywhere else. I would definitely recommend it for anyone planning a trip to Kaziranga in particular and assam in general.

We visited Kaziranga for 2 Safari’s and elephant safari as well. We didn’t like elephant safari as treatment to elephant was not good for all of they diverted. Yes, you get a chance to see Rhinos very closely. Ride cost you around 950 per person and time is around 30-40 min. For jeep safari, we went to Central zone which was very rich in Habitat and lot of Rhinos. We spot many Wetland birds as well. Overall love the forest experience!

This is a spectacular park and the drives through the national park leave from one of the 3gates, western, central and Eastern. Eastern is quieter in terms of the number of jeeps as it is further away from the majority of the accommodation. It is also more densely wooded and therefore providing cover for some of the larger animals. I would suggest you have a guide here especially as 'spotting' can be challenging. Tigers are elusive and seeing them in the long grass is rare but the range of wildlife here is unique with the opportunity to see close up the one horned rhino and wild Indian elephants: we also saw river otters which was a real treat. The elephant ride is a must. It leaves early from western and central gate and this early morning ride is very atmospheric as the sun rises and the animals emerge from the mist. Indian buffalo and one horned rhinos can be seen VERY close up. This is a buy NP, especially at the weekends with both Nationals and tourists experiencing the park. If you can go mid week it might be less busy which could make the wildlife viewing easier.
