We would have missed Tawang Memorial, but thanks to my prudent friend who ensured we did not miss the memorial. The memorial was built very nicely and it asserts patriotic fervor in everyone who visits it. A must visit in Twang

They show u excerpts from t India China war.as n Indian citizen one feels proud to c how committed our soldiers are.everything is very clean n one can buy some so vernier from t shop there

Last spot to visit is Joginder Singh (Tawang) Memorial which has Light & Sound show which starts at 6:45pm in batches (10min show). Gallantry Memorial has all the names inscribed of 200+ soldiers on the wall with Battalion name who laid their life in 1962....More

We had visited the war memorial. We had army personnel take us through the complete history which was an eye opener. The lights show in evening is a must visit which gives glimpse on our history and Tawang !! Kudos to Indian Army !!

Place provide details of 1962 war and name of all soldiers are written who died in war. It was really a difficult war for India and one can feel the intensity and bravery of our soldiers in this memorial

Must visit. One feels patriotic and proud for our army. Light and sound show simply great. One also feels sad when one came to know how unprepared india was during 1962 war. Bad politicians can damage the reputation of country and morale of the army....More

there's a lsound & light show in the evening ...two shows around 6 pm ..20 rs pp...worth a watch if free time

While the memorial is nothing out of the world, the views from this monument are quite nice. It is also very touching to read about the war stories and sacrifices made by the soldiers

This war memorial has been built in memory of 2420 Indian soldiers who laid down their lives in 1962 Chinese War to defend our motherland. Names of all the soldiers are inscribed on the wall.The army conducts light and sound show at 5 pm there....More
