My two week in the North East of India with Holiday Scout was really good. For the past year, I had the idea of going to the Hornbill festival in Nagaland. Last June, when I finally decided to book my ticket I choose to take the Hornbill festival as an opportunity to visit all North East region. I found Holiday scout which proposed me according to plan to design a trip in Nagaland, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. I took 3 weeks in December from the second to the 23. Everything was well planned and choose with taste (hotel, restaurant...). Sange of Holiday Scout brought me to wild and intact place in Meghalaya, to some beautiful guesthouse in Majuli and to a lot of other places. Thanks again Holiday Scout for the amazing trip that you enabled.

I traveled in Arunachal Pradesh with Sange for one week in November 2019. I travel extensively overseas independently and with friends, and this experience was one of the best I've had. First, a few comments on choosing to travel with a guide in this region. I love driving overseas and I do not like organized tours. I generally prefer to figure it out myself and get a lot out of that discovery when overseas. In this region, I knew I wanted (and needed) something different. Sange provided exactly that: education (he's from the region, knows a LOT, and had excellent communication skills), culture, connection with the local community, access, and a focus on impact (Sange funnels what he earns as a guide into local communities: school rehabilitation, etc.). I never felt like a "tourist" traveling with Sange (and I never wanted to). I felt like a visitor, and was blown away by the hospitality and welcome experienced visiting local homes and businesses. I was a solo traveler (Sange, driver, myself) and also felt exceptionally safe, and the trip was a very good value (typically solo travel with a guide is exorbitantly expensive). Sange was able to customize activities on the fly as well: organizing days based on what I was most interested in as he discussed the region. Sange is very patient as well (in answering hundreds of questions!). I cannot recommend Arunachal Pradesh enough. I cannot recommend Holiday Scout enough. It was an honor to spend time with Sange and his community.

My husband and I did a 18 day tour of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Nagaland in November/Dec 2018. A year later we still talk about it and are eager to do another trip with Holiday Scout. Our guide Arjun was knowledgeable, professional and he is a warm person. Our driver Chitri was a very good driver - often in challenging conditions. There were a few issues along the way but Sange quickly addressed these. This trip was excellent value and gave us the opportunity to get off the tourist path and experience new cultures in a safe manner.

My nephew and I went to North East India for 7 days holiday with Holiday Scout, Sange has is a wonderful guide and he made sure that we have a wonderful time during our visit. Our best time was in his lodge in Tirang, his mom cooked us wonderful NE food and they make sure that we have everything we need. We visited during the Monsoon season which have been wonderful however we have had land slides and many obstacles when we were on the road, however we had a wonderful driver that made sure we arrive safe and sound The experience made huge difference in my Nephew's life as he has seen what living remotely feels like, with no internet or any kind of technology except nature and crazy weather it gave him a different perspective of life. Sange ensured that this trip is to be remembered and i would love to go and visit NE again with Holiday Scout Truly once in a life time experience and you Sange and your crew had made it happen, i thank them and cherish the friends we met along the way.
