Well worth a trip to see this sight. We went with my parents and although it was not obvious how to get across to the rock from the parking area, once we found this hidden path, it was a captivating sight.

Very romantic and great photo opportunity. The beech is stoney so make sure your flip flops are secure. Fantastic ice cream solid in the shop across the road. (Don't think about the calories).

It was nice to actually see the "legend"! We had an enthusiastic guide who told the story with so much pasdion, I almost believed it! Unfortunately one is not allowed to swim around the rock anymore, so eternal youth still evades me!

Is it a large rock, or is it the remains of Uranus's testicles, chopped of by his son Chronos, on the order of his Mum (and you think your family is a bit odd - you've a way to catch up with these guys), which...More
