Had an enjoyable time strolling around this site, the main dwelling building on the site is very attractive and holds some interesting antiquities. The remaining site is level site that has been excavated and there is a beautiful church and graveyard to the edge of...More

This sanctuary is indescribably poor, and even with a plan, unintelligible. What little signage there is is pathetic and inadequate. By way of contrast, the small museum is a gem, everything clearly labelled. My favourite artefacts are: A Roman terracotta shrine An Iron Age sarcophagus...More

We found this site difficult to imagine in its historical setting, it seemed a bit of a jumble; however the museum was well worth visiting.

Finally I got to visit this place. Much more interesting than I imagined, we were there approximately 2 hours. Very interesting, fabulous views. The museum was unexpected, really enjoyed our visit.

These ruins at the Shrine of Aphrodite are deservedly designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. Most of the site is outside but there are strategically placed seats in shade and under tress so visitors can escape the sun on very hot days. There are ruins...More

When you first arrive in Kouklia you feel that the place is abandonned but the archeological parc is really interesting. The medieval manor / museum at the end brings all the informations you need. Bonus for the staff which is really welcoming and ready to...More
