It was raining when we arrived in the village. There is no parking for private vehicles at the castle, which lies at the end of a 2 km hike along a cobbled track through the forest. You can either walk, or drive up by horse cart. The old castle is still intact in many parts. Inside you find a museum of historical items. At 11 AM, and 2 PM there are shows of trained free flying falcons, owls, etc.

The castle was very busy with one of it's regular festivals when we visited - there were lots of visitors! The medieval festival added a lot of interest to the castle courtyard but the crowds made the castle interior fairly uncomfortable.
