Everything about this place is beautiful. There's quite a bit of climbing so take some trainers (it's possible in flip flops but not to be recommended!). There's plenty of shade on the way up through the trees and apparently there are Mules to take you to the top in high season but we went at the end of September so... More

A bit steep walk but the view is amazing. Remember to take good shoes. No flip-flops or soft shoes if you want to survive the rocks :) It is a bit windy there, so long sleeves might be helpful. Do not take little kids there!

This ruined city is one of the best things we did in Kos. The ruins are amazing, the views from the castle spectacular, and the restaurant on this hill is the beat place we ate during our visit. We loved it so much we came back for a second time (and climbed the high steps for 10 minutes) just to... More

An amazing view, so much to discover ( I love to explore "stones" as a friend named it). Nevertheless: please: you need some stamina to reach the top, and good shoes (my sneakers have been way to inappropriate!), plus some time..its not a 20 min. tour!

Must visit a very old village from the early 9th century. A few houses still up and a couple of very old church's that will wow you. Very quiet and beautiful area that can travel you back in time. Don't visit with a buggy and a toddler unless you are proper to carry them all the way up the mountain.... More

This is well worth the climb. It is not a particularly challenging climb and can be taken at leisure, there is a lot of steps and I climbed during the hottest part of the day but there are many trees which provide shade and occasionally a bench to rest. I would recommend taking a couple of bottles of water as... More
