Outstanding scenery on a very leisurely day trip by bus and boat from Bergen.
A visit to the Nature centre at Eisfjord was a bonus included in the trip.

Its an awesome place and gigantic waterfall. There are several viewing platforms, from a level above to a level below.
the views are breathtaking and i highly recommend it.

It has a good and big parking space. the only negative point about this place is that its not for people who are afraid of heights.

There are actually a number of waterfalls. Depending on your physical condition you can either visit the easier views, or walk down (and then up...) to the new bridge, where you can enjoy up-close views of the main falls.

The place was rammed with groups off the big cruise ship. Once they started to leave it got easier to get around and have a good look at the waterfall. This has got to be the best we've seen yet.

We stopped to view this waterfall as part of a cruise excursion. We viewed this amazing, powerful fall from various viewing platforms above the falls. It was impossible to photograph it all from one spot. There was an hotel and gift shop on site

My wife and I recently viewed these falls and came away very impressed. The falls themselves are quite spectacular and the valley into which they flow is very scenic. One could hike to the base of the falls, but we chose to drive to the top of the falls. The drive itself was very scenic. This is highly recommended for visitors to Norway.

First of all, I don't understand why there aren't hundreds of reviews here. I thought Voringsfossen was one of the most famous falls in Norway.

While you can see the waterfall from an overlook above them, I'd recommend hiking to them via the valley below. It takes about 3 hours round trip. It's not terribly challenging at first, but you should definitely wear appropriate footwear. When you get closer to the falls, the hike becoming much more challenging, as you're traversing the valley along wet rocks. Bring a raincoat if you want to get somewhat close to Voringsfossen.

This is an exhilarating experience. The waterfall is gorgeous, as is the valley.

Ask a tourist office for directions, as it's a little confusing as to where to pull over on the side of the road to begin the hike.

Voringfossen falls is an excellent stop if you are into awesome scenery. It is a group of 3-4 falls with great overlooks. The day we visited was warming up so the mist created by the temperature differentials made the whole scene even better. There is a hotel here and restaurant/coffee shop. Would be awesome for a honeymoon stopover.

Waterfalls with an impressive jet, visible from above. Not the best views in Norway but the view of the canyon below is very beautiful

The Voringfossen waterfalls are located about three hours' drive from Bergen and are stunning. Many waterfalls that converge in the river below. Don't miss the view from the super technological bridge suspended more than 100 meters high. The weather wasn't the best, but we still managed to appreciate them.
