We wanted a fun place to visit between trips to the beach and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the shops. We bought a gorgeous pair of pink sapphire earrings, a lovely olde worlde warratah print and two unique Sydney tea towels and a latte. There were lots of unusual Sydney style nick-knacks and souvenirs. And there was... More

We travelled by bus from the city to visit this most interesting of markets. So many great artisans selling their wares and an undercover coffee shop selling good coffee and interesting food. The egg and bacon bombs are beautiful.

Oxford Street Paddington is fabulous on Saturdays because of the historical markets which span over the school grounds of public school. The food stalls are brilliant. I had the bao bun with pork. There was entertainment and lots of people. Lots of handmade goods; vintage; crockery; leather; jewellery; clothes; records; plants; paintings.... it goes on and on it's exhausting. Allocate... When it opened decades ago it was very funky and cutting edge but these days there are much better markets. Also parking is a complete nightmare.

The Market is open every Saturday from 10am onwards and starts closing about 4pm. A great place to go if you like browsing around craft markets. There were lots of unique crafts on sale from jewellery, clothing and cakes etc. There is a small area of eateries which all looked very tasty. We chose the freshly cooked egg (to our... More

I enjoyed this market and was happy at... More

It is said to be the oldest market in Sydney. It includes quite a variety of food stalls, jewellery, and clothes. It also has a number of stalls with different items such as paintings, minerals, sculptures and more. I went with my wife and kids and we all a pleasant time.

This community market is open every Saturday from 10 am. There are many stalls, and the day I went it was so windy the sellers had trouble keeping their tents / umbrellas grounded. Expect to buy quality and unique items at Paddington Markets. The succulent aromas of cooking food can be had, also. I particularly liked the German Pretzel stall,... More
