Being lovers of all things markets. The is quite upmarket, not be confused with a flea market in anyway. Many stalls with pretty things, great place to get something a little different, not really the place to get a bargain. Has a real good vibe about, with a trendy/hipster atmosphere, deep in the market are food stalls with all kinds... More

I have been coming to Paddington Markets for a very long time and it is one market which has managed to maintain a high level of quality over decades.

Went for a wander here after a work trip in Sydney. Nice collection of different stalls though some things were perhaps a little pricey. That said, there was a nice collection of locally designed and made jewellery, clothes etc. The weekend i went, they also had some fairtrade stalls for international week. Chatting to the stall owners made for interesting... More

Relatively easy to get here by bus (2.10) or taxi (13.50), an eclectic assortment of jewelry, artwork, clothing, and food carts. Only open on Saturdays.

Although not as diverse as we recalled from previous visits, this is still a great market to wander around and to find unusual hand-made items. It also has a good food section. It is also worth popping into the old Uniting Church to savour the peaceful atmosphere and admire the hand-hewn sandstone blocks.

After a long walk through Notting Hill we get to Paddington market. The food there smalls so good we have to try something. We have ordered some burgers which were excellent plus some lamb wraps which were also very good. Unfortunately we didn't have time to get back there to taste some more food but for sure is worth to... More

Really love this market as it is full of local artists be it clothes, accessories, paintings and many more. Food stalls are separated from the rest. My only complaint is the scale of the market. It is simply not big enough.
