20 years ago it was paradise ... Now it's just full of businesses trying to charge western prices and you can't get to the beach without going through someone's restaurant ..... Weatherspoons on sea .,.. Very sad indeed as it once was so lovely.....

Visited after the season rush. Very calm and beautiful beach . The best beach I visited in india . Stayed a week. One important factor is local community's role in beach preservation

If you don't like the hustle bustle of North Goa and want to spend some time in the little village on the beach. This place is for you. Get a beach hut and enjoy the balmy evenings under the palms.

Went to Agonda beach as a day trip from Palolem. It was totally empty and such a beautiful one ! Very clean and peaceful. There were no shacks open as it was monsoons. Must visit!

You could try The Bay Agonda, which is the only permanent hotel there, as far as I know, and is probably your best bet for a pool. Everything else just pops up during the on season.
