Small, full of artifacts. Doesn't highlight the visit to the theater or asklepion. Most originals are brought over to Athene anyway.

I was impressed by the historical sites visited in Greece.We become much more humble when seeing what people could do and plan for, centuries ago...........without computers and heavy equipment.!

The Museum is in the archaeological site. It is not very big, but holds some really interesting artifacts recovered from the area. There are lots of items, but the authorities could do better with improved information in English.
It's worth a visit to this museum if you want to quickly grasp life in these ancient times. The staff is enthusiastic, knowledgable, and the exhibits themselves are plenty. The artifacts overall are in very good condition.
Not everything is well-captioned in English (maybe the Greek is more informative), and there are a few displays with snippets of information that just leave you wanting to know more. Also, some of the statues are reproductions. However, it is a tightly packed museum full...More
The museum is nice but on that so famous place you expect more to find. Maybe that most thing from here are somewhere in London, Berlin, Paris... But, in any case, Worth to visit as you do not lose to much time for that.
