I always wanted to see a mummified person. You ring a bell and a man comes out and lets you in. A donation is expected.

We visited this Convent and crypt whilst staying in the historic village of Savoca. The crypt is the main attraction due to the dressed mummified remains of local dignitaries, priests and monks. We found the crypt strangely interesting, if a little creepy.
