When we arrived there was a service already started and the singing was awe inspiring we sat mesmerised, then we walked up the mount and it's worth finding the surprises in the grottos, very worth a visit

A stunning, Holy and lively monastery. Even ignoring its fantastic history and links with Pugin there is something magical about the grounds themselves, the devotion of the monks and they silence of the experience. Well worth dropping on.
