About
This was once the summer retreat of Tipu Sultan. It’s a good place for hiking and birding. The hill also has temples dating back to the Chola period. It gets extremely crowded on weekends. The hills offer great views of the surroundings, though.
Suggested duration: More than 3 hours

Pretty scenery. Steady walk up hundreds of steps. Didn't make it all the way to the top. I'm too out of shape. A younger, fitter person could do it.

A good place to go with friends, family or relatives. Try to reach as early as possible to see the magnificent view of sunrise. Don’t forget to get the jacket with you.
