The most breathtaking place I've ever been. Altyn Arashan is a must to see. Absolutely recommend this one. Kyrgyz nature at it's finest!

The thermal springs were so refreshing after a long hike! Beautiful surroundings with weather always changing. We experienced sun, wind, and rain all in a matter of a couple of hours. Can be muddy if it rains.

Good place to start or finish Ala Kul trekking. Try hot springs and make sure to drink some Kyrgyz vodka - if you're finishing your trip not starting of course.

Our guest house Hillside ( excellent place) organised a 4 wheel drive to take us up and back. Not cheap (approx 70$ for 2 of us) but worth it when see others hiking up very steep and difficult track. Our driver waited while we spent...More

The road leads to Altyn Arashan is really rough and you probably need a former Soviet military van to take you there but it is worth the little “suffering”. The gorge is very beautiful all along the way! When you reach the valley, don’t miss...More
