What an amazing experience! There is so much to take in, it's overwhelming. The Palace and the grounds surrounding it tell a tale of history. The palace was bombed in WW11, but the restoration will leave you breathless.

A must do! Wonderful palace and exhibits and great garden! Although Tsarskoye Selo is a bit of a trip outside of St Petersburg, it was well worth it. Architecture and furnishings are exquisite, was there in May so gardens were blooming and beautiful. The fountains and...More

Every Palace had a different tale to tell. This was a wonderful experience. Outside of St Petersburg so best to have a guide. So much to see.

A fabulous palace which would have been spectacular in its day. Much restoration work done since WWII pillage but still much to do. The Amber room is awesome with amazing intricate detail which makes this one of the 'wonders of the world'.

We visited here as part of our tour and it was fantastic! On arrival the palace is very impressive and exceeded our expectations. We spent an hour or so wondering through the palace rooms and enjoyed a little waltz in the ballroom. Worth a visit!

The palace is actually a replica built recently. A narrow gallery of rooms which all look the same. So much gold (fake) that it gets on your nerves. Totally disappointed. Don’t make the extra effort of going all the way.

What an amazingly beautiful building and gardens. Again, I didn't have enough time to really really explore it to the depth I would have loved to. Bits of it were absolutely breathtaking.

For many years I appreciate the efforts of the restaurateurs of the Museum to open more rooms for visits and a great collection of art they show to tourists. But they should absolutely do something witht the visit of Amber Chamber - standing in line...More

Hi there we went in January 2017 and it was open. I don't see why it would be closed in Feb. We did the palace and the troika ride. It is very difficult to get there by public transport as not many people speak English... More
