The grounds are spectacular even in late Fall. Inside the collections are beautiful. The pipe organ was being played in the Chapel and between the decor and music I could have stayed there for hours. If this one isn't on your castle list it should...More

Very nice place to visit, it’s very popular, very close to zoo and the good food is very close to the garden.

Using the Copenhagen Card we decided on this trip last minute, it is well worth the journey, easy to reach and a fabulous example of 16th 17th living.

Very relaxing place to visit. Popular with the locals. Backs onto the zoo, so expect to see the elephants and flamingos for free. Excellent view from the "Slot" ( Castle or Manor House style building). Very picturesque in Autumn. A short walk to Carlsberg town.

Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find
Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in
itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here
there are several fine theaters, from the experimental
to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which
specializes in transcribing the great London and New
York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several
years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find

It is actually a military facility now - so one can only see the church (if I remenber correctly). The park is nice tough. You can go to Rosenborg Slot instead - this is were the crown jewels are kep.
