This is yet another great Naxos beach. Only a 19 minute drive from the main port and well serviced with organised cafes and restaurants offering sun beds and food/drinks. The water is stunning.

This beach compares to some of the best I have seen in my travels (St-Martin, Thailand, Aruba). Turquoise water, clear water, not very shallow for young kids though. Absolutely loved this beach, it was a little windy when we went.

A wonderful time at Agios Prokopios Beach. Crystal clear water blue water, lovely clean sand. Beautiful long walks along the water front. And the little town is just sensational.

By going further west on this beach (apart from during the weekends) this beach is not so busy and crowded. Sun beds (for 2 persons) are usually 8 Euros.

Nice and calm beach nice for children. You got everything you need near by just a short walk across the road.

We have been in 3 beaches in Naxos and this was the best! Clean water, perfect blonde sand and ideal for children! Must visit!

We stayed here rather than Naxos Town, whilst a nice beach to visit, wouldn't recommend staying here unless you want something sleepy. The beach is nice enough, but nothing special

The beach is sandy the water is Crystal clear blue just like a pool!!!the only con is the lake at the end of the beach where the salt of the sea is gathered so it has a weird smell sometimes..

Probably good for familes or those who prefer a livelier atmosphere. Plenty of sunbeds which cost 8 euros but included in that is a drink. Nice sandy and safe beach.

Thank JOHN C

We always err on the cautious side and keep our credit cards, passports, etc in the hotel safe - just bring a little bit of money, whatever we need, down to the beach. We have never had any problems but it is always good to... More

I wouldn't rely on the bus system especially on any of the smaller Greek islands. We were in Naxos for a week and only ever saw the locals catch them a few times. To answer the other part of your question. Agios Prokopios is... More
